Bakit hindi ako pinili? Ito ang tipikal na sentimiento ng lahat ng may K sa buhay.  K -inalimutan para sa mga ipinagpalit at iniwan.  K -inailangan para sa mga nilapitan lang dahil sa hidden motives .  K-inumusta para sa mga gasgas na gasgas nang 'pinagtagpo pero 'di itinadhana'.  K -inilala para sa mga pinakilig pero di pinanagutan. at... K -inaibigan para sa mga naniwalang puwede pero hindi rin pala sa huli. Kung isa ka sa mga nakaranas nito, congrats dahil ikaw ay isa sa mga may K! Yaman mo! Pero here is the real deal . Minsan, lagi kang nagtatanong kung "Bakit Hindi Ako Pinili?". Pero bakit hindi natin ibahin ang tanong, gawin nating "Dapat Ka Bang Piliin?" Most of the time, human as we are, gusto nating nasa atin ang lahat. "...If only we had died in the Lord's presence with our brothers!" "...Why have you brought the congregation... in this wilderness to die...?" "Why did you make us leave... and bring us to this terrible place...?" Assumptions. Complaints. That is what Numbers 20:3-5 tells us.  When the Israelites had went out of Egypt, they experienced scarcity of water.The reaction - they complained to God about their situation. They even compared what life was like in Egypt before. The response - God commanded Moses to hit or strike the rock. Then the water gushed out.  This was the scenario in Exodus 17, which was the same happening in the book of Numbers some time after more than 40 years.  Same problem. Same reaction. BUT DIFFERENT COMMAND THIS TIME. God instructed Moses to speak to the rock. And because of this, Moses did not enter the promised land. See what happens when we choose to assume and complain. In the battle of the toughest, will you choose to be the grasshopper? Or will you be the giant? Grasshopper mentality. While the 10 others thought that they were like grasshoppers and the people living in Canaan were giants, Joshua and Caleb stood firm on what they believe: the Lord is giving them the Land.  Num. 14:9 (ESV) "...They have no protection, but the Lord is with us! Don't be afraid of them!"  These two men knew who they believe in. They trusted the God who commanded them to go and take the land. When the others decided to give up, they were ready to go to the conquest, assured that the presence of the Lord is with them.  Do you sometimes feel like you are the grasshopper and all these huge circumstances are giants blocking your way to go to the land the Lord is showing you?  Take time to pray and ask God to help you draw strength from Him.  But doing that wouldn't be possible if you don't have a loving relationship with God the Father, whi...
